Activities

Professor Milovanović immensely attributed to development of Neurocardiology in Serbia.
First in Serbia to introduce a methodology for the clinical assessment of the function of the autonomic nervous system and create the original assessment protocol.
In 2009, he organized First Nerocardiological World Congress which was held in Belgrade, in the three day period, October 1st-3rd, 2009.
First in Serbia to introduce a new scientific discipline, Neurocardiology. First to organize an international symposium in this field.
Founder and first president of the Serbian Autonomic Society, a section of the Serbian Medical Society. The section has been a member of the European Federation of Autonomic Societies (EFAS) since May 2005, as the first national society outside the European Union.
Founder and president of the Serbian Neurocardiological Society.
Board member of the International Society for Holter and Non-Invasive Electrocardiology, since May 2013.
Active member of the European Academy of Sciences and Arts based in Salzburg (Academy of the European Union, 38 Nobel Laureates) (10 December 2015). Elected at the proposal of Academy President Felix Unger.
Board member of the Polish and Russian Non-Invasive Cardiology Societies.
Organizer of the First International Symposium on Neurocardiology, which took place in Belgrade, from 1 to 3 October 2009, and which achieved historic significance.
Organizer of the annual international Neurocard Symposium in Belgrade, the only one of its kind in the world, between 2010 and 2018
Organizer of the International Symposium on Non-invasive Cardiology (30 May 2011), in Belgrade
He was the first man to introduce the Neurocardiology as a scientific discipline in Serbia, as well as the performance of tests for autonomic nervous system.
